General Use
Customization
All you have to do is fill in your contact details and validate. That’s it, your card is functional.
With someone using an iPhone (iOs)
If the person you want to share your card with has an iPhone, simply present the QR code of your e-card in front of that person’s camera, with the camera application open. Basically, the procedure is similar to taking a picture of your own screen. Once the other person’s device has detected the QR code on your card, your contact will receive a request to add your contact details into his/her address book. That’s it.
With someone using an Android phone
If the person you want to share your card with has an Android phone, they can retrieve your card via a QR code reader (like Google Lens ou Qr Droid ).. Once it is done, your contact will receive a request to add your contact details into his/her address book. That’s it.
To change the details of your e-card, tap the screen to reveal the menu. Then tap on the card icon to access your data and modify what you want to. Once the modification is made, simply confirm it by pressing the V icon. If you do not want to save those changes, press the X icon.
To add an additional e-card, simply tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner to reveal the menu. Press the + icon to create a new card. When you do that, Qairn will automatically copy your first and last name from one card to another.
Note that it is not possible to cancel the creation of a ecard directly. You must validate the card and then delete it after via the delete icon in the menu
To delete an e-card from your portfolio, display the card you want to delete and touch tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner to reveal the menu. Then press the - icon. A pop-up will ask you to confirm if you really want to delete it. Confirm to complete the deletion.
To navigate between your different cards, simply swipe to the right. Swipe to the left to go backwards.
The card displayed first by Qairn is always the last card used. When you exit the application, the last card consulted will be displayed first the next time you will use Qairn.
Customization
To change the design of your e-card, tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner to reveal the menu while displaying the card you would like to update. Then tap the "settings" icon. The design menu appears and allows you to make the whished changes. Once the have been made, simply validate by pressing the V icon. If you do not want to save those changes, press the X icon.
To add a logo, press the + icon on the right side of the Logo image. Qairn opens your camera roll and allows you to select from your personal pictures the one that matches. If no logo is added, the name of your company entered in your info will be displayed instead of.
The recommended image format for your company logo is a PNG file with a transparent background. Qairn also accepts JPG format files but transparency will not be supported.
To remove an existing logo, simply tap the - icon next to your logo.
The color selection is made through the setup menu, based on the html color system. A reference corresponding to a # followed by 6 characters. To select your color, you can use the available color picker.
When editing your background picture, Qairn offers you the possibility to define an image among an existing selection. Qairn also offers you the possibility to add your own images. In order to do so, tap the empty image with the + symbol at the bottom right. Qairn opens your camera roll and allows you to select from your personal photos the one you would like to be displayed
